If I'm not mistaken paypal also take a percentage of money paid in so its more like 4ish quid, which really isn't worth it, even at 5 quid (to state the obvious)! Might be worth upping your budget a lot if you want quality time and effort spent on this, or at least a half decent outcome. It definitely isn't worth competing for this either......you could even say its kind of insulting to us designers.

I'm trying to be as diplomatic as I can, so a piece of advice to you would be to increase your budget and terms and come back with a reasonable offer. Or you may well start another ‘discussion’ on this issue.

Also to any newbies please do not take offers like this unless you have a guarantee of repeat business at a reasonable rate or until a change to original terms and price has been agreed (even then be wary). I think there is still plenty of lower budget design work for you newbies to expand your portfolio's etc, but from experience I have found that creating work on an impossible budget generally means the outcome isnt always to the best standard and may be best left out of your portfolio.

Just my opinion though!
