Yes,
I am in the same situation as you, I think.
Learnt how to use all these 3d design progs and also have an extensive art and design background in sculpture, ceramics and fine art.
Where do we find the people that are after trainee's and apprentice's,
I am a chef but never wanted to be one, I love cooking but don't like the hot sweaty kitchens. Just want to get some experience and happy to work for free in my spare time, which is 24/7 at the mo. No job, spend all my time making new obj files and refining my uv mapping skills.
Has anyone got ideas on how to get started in a real job, I have many creative skills, including advanced comp aided music production.
