New to this, but just wondering if anybody could advise the best place to find freelance CAD work?

1. Best place is starting local, phone up your nearest businesses that 'might' use your particular flavour of work and see what happens.

2. Develop contacts in the industry, call the contacts you already have and get some dialogue going.

3. Try using the 'sharkpit'...........oh! I mean the forums, freelance and bid sites that abound the interweb.........don't expect too many juicy projects!.....I've seen bids of $5 for a full set of house plans............

I have years of technical experience in manufacturing and design. Recently decided to concentrate on drafting but I am struggling to find work because I have no experience, structural, civil, etc etc...
Any idea's how I could get some????
