Default I want feedback for my new website please :D

Hello everyone ,

I'm new here as you can probably tell and I am freelance copywriter.

I want some honest (but not brutal) feedback on my new website:

The Best UK Copywriting Services

It's only a new website and it's still needing a few tweaks here and there! Any tips or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Please be gentle

Thanks in advance,

Sarah

nice website, 1 thing that I notice first is that the light blue box at the bottom that contains your copyright information should be centered with your white text box, similar to what its like on the right hand side, also on the about us page and what we do page the box becomes quite large...its all about uniformity when it comes to a template :-) other than that quite a nice website, perhaps you could get your self a company logo tho, bit of corperate branding never hurt anyone and then you can shift the design of your site slightly to reflect your logo.

Thankyou :-)

I think I will get a logo actually, a nice idea I hadn't thought of to be honest!

I will sort out the text as well :-)

Thank you

Sarah

It's a nice-looking site, but you could do with sorting out those ugly run-on sentences under 'What we do'. Also, it's all a bit I/We focused. Only trying to help. http://forums.freelanceuk.com/images/editor/smilie.gif

"I (Sarah Folega) personally hire the best writers to work at FCS."

But not when it comes to writing copy for your own site. Your prose is tortuous (1) and your promises are wildly overdone (2).

(1) "We will send out regular emails and newsletters to keep you up to date with our progress and any copy writing tips that we have to help you make your business better."

(2) "We can make your lagging business into a highly successful one just by using words.", "the highest quality of copywriting work".

The actual site itself needs a bit of work... the images load every so slightly slower than they could and your site fails when it comes to Accessbility and Standards

W3C.org - Failed on 77 errors

Default Site wizard

To be honest its fairly obvious that you have used Streamlines site wizard to build you web page.
Its a very limited application and you would do a lot better by having a more professional looking site using more sophisticated software. But don't give up.

Honestly? It's bland.
No call to action.
"Do you have too much to do and not enough time to do it in?"
Yes, I am busy so I haven't the time to read all this copy.
Content should get straight to the point.

I know it's not your thing, but that's some of the ugliest code I've seen for a while!
