Hi there,
I'm looking to fatten up my rather skinny portfolio and looking for some freelance jobs. Experience in writing for national press, reviewer, editor for local entertainments website and city guide. All work considered or any kind words of advice from anyone online would be appreciated. annahendrie@hotmail.co.uk |

You could try working for local agencies for free or for a pittance - because the key thing in copywriting is the portfolio, not the courses you've done or the BA Hons in English that sits after your name. A good portfolio, plus the understanding (not shared by many on this forum, as far as I can see) that what businesses need is someone to SELL their products and services, rather than perfect spelling and grammar.
If your portfolio's any good, you'll get more work. If it's not, you won't. You'll need a website on which to display your portfolio. Then market it like crazy. 'Seasy. Copywriter-Freelance Copywriting-Online Copywriter-Freelance Writer-Website Content Writers |
