I will keep the navigation buttons where they are but make them more prominent. I will consider the colour change....

The whole idea of the design and particularly the strong colour was to create something a bit different and memorable which 'bursts' onto the eye.

I definitely agree I need to add more copy and am already in the process of doing that. When I set it up I put more effort into the design and decided to keep the copy as simple as possible, in the belief that people didn't have time to read lots of copy and 'scanned' websites rather than read carefully.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback.
