Hey,

I have a question about part-time freelance work.

I'm currently employed full time as an SEO copywriter but am looking to do some freelance copywriting in my spare time to boost my income.

I've been reading the info. in 'Starting Out' on this site, but it seems to focus mainly on working full time as a freelancer.

Do I need to set myself up as a company if I want to do part time work? I don't want to do anything illegal, even by accident!

Would be most grateful for any advice.

Hi Alex

When I was freelancing whilst working full-time, I just registered as self-employed and paid tax on my freelance earnings separately.
