Before registering or posting please recognise that this is a forum for UK Freelancers. If you are not in the UK then feel free to join in the banter but any self-promotion or advertising your services will lead to the post being deleted or, in persistent cases, banning from the forum completely.

We appreciate that our user-base may be able to answer your technical queries or help with feedback etc so if you are not UK based then do feel free to ask questions of this nature or take part in these discussions.

If you want to post a job then you can either browse members of our freelancers directory or post a job for inclusion on our jobs pages here. Do not post jobs directly to the forum , they will be deleted.

We moderate the posts of new users. This means that initial posts may take some time to appear so please be patient.

If you are a UK freelancer then you will appreciate how much work we have completed to make this site and attract relevant traffic. We are the source of a lot of freelance work and we channel all of this to members of our freelance directory. You can join the directory for £5 per month. A tiny sum of money and a percentage of one job won through the forum could pay for several years membership.

If you are not a member of the directory then you can still take part in all discussions but we will not allow you to promote your freelance services directly on this forum. We do not allow links in signatures apart from links to your freelance directory listing.

If you are not a member then we do allow posting of sites for peer review but if we think you are sneakily promoting sites using this service then we will ban you.

We will monitor the PM system, regularly check forum signatures and profile pages. Promoting any sites to compete for work other than your freelance alliance profile will lead to these links being removed. Persistent misuse will lead to a complete ban.
