Logo required

Hi, is there anyone who can make me a logo for on a real low budget of £5? Paid into PayPal account to best design, send me low resolution image first so that I can judge. Not too cheesy please, the title itself does that "Milk The FTSE 100". Please include the text in the logo, and I would prefer a white background.

I will gladly do you a design for £5, provided that you elect me as the only designer and pay me in half before the design commences. I am certainly not going to waste my time designing a logo which will be judged out of a pile for £5 that is ludicrous.

If I'm not mistaken paypal also take a percentage of money paid in so its more like 4ish quid, which really isn't worth it, even at 5 quid (to state the obvious)! Might be worth upping your budget a lot if you want quality time and effort spent on this, or at least a half decent outcome. It definitely isn't worth competing for this either......you could even say its kind of insulting to us designers.

I'm trying to be as diplomatic as I can, so a piece of advice to you would be to increase your budget and terms and come back with a reasonable offer. Or you may well start another ‘discussion’ on this issue.

Also to any newbies please do not take offers like this unless you have a guarantee of repeat business at a reasonable rate or until a change to original terms and price has been agreed (even then be wary). I think there is still plenty of lower budget design work for you newbies to expand your portfolio's etc, but from experience I have found that creating work on an impossible budget generally means the outcome isnt always to the best standard and may be best left out of your portfolio.

Just my opinion though!

Hi Kieron, I have read your post in a different thread. You are very unlikely to make much, or any money using 'paint' as your graphic application, the outcome will be very basic, plus the quality and file format in which you can produce the logo in will be very limiting. You can buy old versions of photoshop and illustrator fairly cheap if you cant afford to buy any of the Adobe cs series (cs, cs2, cs3).

I also see no one has read (or paid attention!!) to my previous reply to this thread......might be worth having a look maybe, to those of you feeling so free to offer your services for £5 or less!

Also I agree with philjohns, if its going to take you 1-2 days to make a logo for £5 is it really worth it? Answer..........NO!!!

If anyone does do this 'job' for £5, could you post the final outcome so we can have a look please!
