Default What and where to study....?

Calling all writers, non-fiction, copywriters, journalists...

I'm actually a graphic designer but have been rethinking my career and fancy having a stab at writing. The trouble is I'm uncertain which route to take and without having any critical feedback on my writing I can't be certain it's the right choice. So I wondered if anyone has any suggestions or can recommend a good course in the London area. My main interests (subject areas) are travel and biography, people and places but I'm hesitant to narrow my options too much, I just don't know. Perhaps a taster course would be advisable first? I had thought about copywriting too seeing as I have the graphic design experience but have been warned this can be as frustrating and restrictive as design but I'm willing to give anything a go once!

Thanks in advance!
