First of all I would like to apologise if I'm not in the correct forum for posting but I'm not sure where to go and who to ask and that is what has brought me here.

I am not a journalist but I have been asked on many occassions if I am and also an investigator. I am definitely none of these.

A number of years ago I took an interest in something (I don't want to say what that is) and over the course of time I have done considerable indepth research in my own time at my own cost. This was and still is about something that is of great interest to me.

From this I came accross other things (unexpected) and this has taken me down other paths.

My question is: - I'm looking to sell a few "paths" of my findings (as I beleive the people should know) but the problem is I don't know how to go about this. I am not sure how to approach it.

Alot of my findings is paid for (by me) documented evidence and as soon as I say what it is then whoever I say it to could go and obtain this information themselves.

I'm really looking to find out how I would cover myself for this. This is what I see as being a real obstacle for me.

Originally I had absolutely no plans to sell anything but make it public but all my findings have taken considerable time and money and I have also travelled accross the country to obtain information.

Would anyone in this forum have general advice or suggestions. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I also want to say that some of my findings do touch on some of the story's that have already been in the media but my findings would give the people a completey different take on a few......saga's
