Question Did we kill idealists?

I'm kind of sick and tired of nonobjective journalism and sensationalism. I have impression that all that I read has the purpose of selling something and force me to think in a desired way.

Where has all the objective and interesting journalism disappeared?

I would like to read texts that actually mean something, that force me to think and change my opinion if necessary.

I would like to create such a place, place for broadening views and perspectives, breaking stereotypes and bringing new views on world.

Am I the only idealist left?

Nope, heard only last week there's another one hiding in the Alps

Spent a while with one of our supposedly better daily rags many years ago and assure you there was nothing too objective around then, so this isn't new.

The one great joy the web has presented is a platform for objectivity, so why not use that. Of course there are acres of spam, corruption and con men but still more truly independent reporting than we have seen in many years, if ever.

Grab a slice for yourself.
