Its a good start, but if im honest, it needs alot of work to present as a proffesional portfolio. I guess your using front page to build it, i would maybe use a webtemplate or use something like clickpics and then set up a redirect from your site at the moment (a simple proceedure) that will allow you to still keep your domain but get a more professional looking site.
Theres a few spelling mistakes, which makes it look abit unprofessional. I find spelling very difficult, one thing that i use when making sites is a program called Claro read, you can download trial software which will be fine to check your site. Claro read reads back to you your text and from that you can pick up spelling mistakes and poor grammar really quickly, its simple but really really helpful. I also think theres a few to many colours, like green text. Personally i would maybe go for a blue and white theme, with orange as the break colour. Maybe fade the picture out on the homepage into the same colour as the background and use a softer font like Microsoft sans or something similar. The images are very good, some of them have maybe had the sat layer pushed to high, but some interesting shoots non the less, keep up the good work! Keep working on the site and keep uploading and changing your images and you will build up a website very quickly. Good Luck |
