quite nice use of composition and black and white.
i wont lie to you the subject material isnt realy interesting but i cant fault the quality of the photographs, some interesting angles and perspectives !

would i be right in saying your a fellow photographer who gets frustrated at lack of interesting subject material?

i started out a little over a year ago and i was taking kinda crappy landscapes and portraits of my family and stuff and now im mainly photojournalism related, ive been covering political demonstrations and different stories within society for portfoio material. my main focus is people and interesting situations, a story within a picture. depends on what your interested in i guess. people are always good subject material !

hope this was handy. have a look at my website jacklaurenson.tk

hi jack, thanks for your reply,im quite new to photography and am still in the experimental stages, taking pics to try to establish where im heading, very frustrating at the moment.I love to take black and white pics, perhaps now is the time to be more adventureous in what i do.I would be very pleased if i could get to your standard of photography, having seen some of your pics.Once again thanks for your reply and honest input.............cheers,steve(digipics01)........ ........

No problem mate, you look like your off to a damn good start. being able to take a good picture of something mundane and relatively normal is where the real skill is!

Thumbs up reply to pics.

Hi Jack, just looked at pics of CND demo, i think the black and white pics represent a more powerful image than the colour pics.I think the best pic of the group is the one with the lady protecting the child, which is our ultimate aim...............cheers..

hey, thanks, yeah i liked that one aswell.

i agree with you about B+W, the mood and atmosphere that black and white can portray is just great, colour can be such a distraction.

this protest was just so bright and colourful in places i felt i had to reflect some of that in my pictures !

hows your stuff coming along?
