Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and hoping someone out there can help me. I have been an avid photographer for several years, whilst my photos have been for my own pleasure and family and friends I have been asked by a work associate to take some photos that will be put into an exhibition later this year. Some of these photos will include several large companies eg Tesco, Sainsbury etc (only from outside) and members of the general public in everyday situations. Whilst I do not have a problem with the photos themselves I have several technical problems that I hope someone can help me with:
1. As these photos will be on show to the general public do I need to obtain permision from said subjects before the show takes place. 2. Do I need to pay the subjects for the use of their images. 3. Are there any other areas that will need to be addressed before the exhibition takes place. I realise that this could be a fairly complex issue but any help and advice any member could give me would be appreciated. Many thanks Tony ![]() |
