Hey all, been looking into this site for ages, but only just got around to posting tonight.
Here's my site, please be gentle. It's my first attempt, so don't be to hard on it!!! Cheers all, lets hope we all get some work in the area we love, eh? Neil Savage-designs |

Hi Neil,
Site looks fine, not bad for a first effort! One little thing that will make all the images look a lot sharper. Instead of using HTML to resize the images, make the images the size you want them to be in Photoshop (or whatever prog you use) and then put them into the page at the exact size. When you change an image's size using HTML it makes it look odd. For example on this page: Galleries Look at the first picture of the lillies, your water mark looks jagged and not nice. The HTML shows the image is being displayed at 514 x 384 pixels. The actual image is here: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...6/sample14.jpg Its actual size is 576 x 432 pixels and as you can see the image looks a lot crisper. If you resized this image in Photoshop to be 514 pixels wide (constrain proportions so the height gets set automatically) then you will end up with a much cleaner, more professional looking, result. |
