Default New Year - new opportunity

With ten year's experience in marketing, PR & comms under my belt, I find myself with the chance to pursue a career as a freelancer.

I've already done a fair bit of homework on things like sole trader vs limited company, and I've spoken to various friends & former colleagues about their experiences of going freelance. However, what I really need to know is how best to go about finding and converting freelance opportunities.

It's worth saying that I have had initial conversations with a couple of local agencies about working for them, but what really intrigues me is that I know of people specialising in areas other than marketing or PR who are having to turn down PR & marketing opportunities because they don't have the expertise.

Incidentally, I am based in Lincolnshire if anyone locally is looking!
