What fee for a Press Release? - Freelance UK Forums

Hi to all,

Ive been asked to write a 500 word press release, but am at a loss as to what fee I should charge. There is research involved. I usually write content etc (copywriter), does anyone here write Press Releases?

Depnding on the format i.e mag or national newspaper,

I would say for the newspaper £500 per 1000 words

for the magazines £300 per 1000 words.

but i may be wrong...

Iam from a media service company and we offer digital publishing and arching solutions to publications.

Iam Looking For Publishers who will be interested in digitalization , Will Press Release will help me in getting the Publishers?
