6 Months Experience - Fair Rate to Charge?

I'm a first-time poster, so be gentle please.

I am a recent English graduate with about six months of online copywriting experience. After a recommendation, I have been approached by a large new company to produce copy for a big project. Given my relative inexperience in this field, I have been thrown off-guard by the company asking for me to quote a price for the work. I expected them to make the first offer.

From my research online, I have seen advice that £200 per day is generally a minimum standard for newcomers who produce quality work. I don't want to undersell myself or price myself out of the job, so would really appreciate some guidance on an appropriate day rate from other copywriters.
