Hi all, I'm new to this site and to freelancing and would like a bit of advice.

I am in the process of securing my first 'job' but they have asked for a fixed quote. I have no idea how to work this out! here's some details about me and the brief...

I'm doing the identity for a hair and beauty salon. they want signage, business cards, price lists and promotional flyers. I'm just doing the design, they have printers arranged.

I have < 2yrs experience and am nearly finished an HNC graphic design. I'm set up as a sole trader...and have a mortgage so need to pay the bills!

Does £250 sound ok for the package? I have no idea how long it will take so don't really want to say an hourly rate. maybe I should start timing...!

Thanks in advance
