I've seen two advertised jobs now where the Buyer is suggesting that the provider steals work from the internet to use in a commercial project. Unbelievable!

The first was a Buyer who is putting together a book of funeral poetry for use by her clients, and is suggesting that the Providers trawl the internet and copy and paste poetry from other people's sites. She says it's OK to do that as long as the author's name is cited. IT'S NOT!!! seethe ...

The second was a Buyer who expected people to trawl the internet for photographs to illustrate a set of articles. No mention of permissions of course .. and another person who's going to get a few terse letters ..

thinks ... wouldn't it be interesting to find a piece of one's poetry in the book and sue the pants off her .. tee hee!!
