    Hello,

I've tried to find an answer to my question, but struggle to be sure... I hope you can help!

I am German and have been living in the UK for almost 5 years. Since April I started to work as a freelancer and my main client is a German foundation in Hamburg. I am organising a conference for this foundation and I will be payed in instalments over the next few months. After paying me for the first time at the end of April it occurred to them that it was rather costly to pay my fee into my UK bank account. Therefore they would prefer to pay me into my German bank account. Now my question is, if that would change where I would have to pay tax? As I am a tax resident in the UK (having lived here for more than 6 months) I would expect to pay tax on my worldwide income here. Would that assumption be correct?

    Thanks for any advice!
