freelance rates for someone just starting out

hi.
i'm newly graduated and have had a few offers for freelance work. i have no idea what to charge. could someone please advise me?

depends on what type of work, but you should be able to get about 150 per day if it artworking, possibly more if its websites.

i would send off samples of your work to PR companies they pay pretty well and the work will help boost your portfolio.

If I do freelance work for local clients I usually charge £35 per hour but I prefer to charge a flat fee so everyone knows where they stand
