Hey Everyone! What is the one part of being a freelancer do you wish you had help with when you started out? I'm new to this and want to avoid the pitfalls.
Chasing clients for money is the biggest pain !!!! If only everyone paid on time life would be sweet.
Get an accountant. If you are like me and are not 100% confident dealing with all the taxes, then make sure you invest in getting an accountant to help you deal with your finances. Theres some freelance accountants on the Freelanceuk website here that you may find helpful. https://www.freelanceuk.com/directory/freelancer_accountants.shtml
Be confident. From my experience, you need to master the art of selling yourself, along with knowing your skills and strengths and how much they're worth (i.e day/hourly rate). Also, act like a business rather than a 'freelancer'. For example, when quoting a project, ask for a percentage of the total costs upfront — this generally weeds outs the dubious clients and sets the tone that you're not some hack. It's become a bit of the wild west out there with some of the race-to-the-bottom freelancing websites, so good luck!
I have started my E-commerce store of online leather jackets but yet not able to extract any order from it. Do I need to hire any free lance seo officer?? or I should go for classified ads
