How To Cross Out Text On Webpage?

    Hi. I'd like to cross out some text on my webpage, but still have the text visible, i.e crossing out the higher price of a reduced price item.

    Is there a simple way for a total novice like myself to do this?

    Actually, this might work better.

    Was <del>£99.99</del><ins>now only £500!</ins>
    Not sure if you have <br /> or <p></p> where the text is at so I left those tags out.

    Here's another way to do it:
    HTML:
    Was <del>£99.99</del><ins>now only £500!</ins>
    Make sure to take into account whether you're in a paragraph or about to line break.
