Hi guy's, I've only really been a hobby illustrator up until now but a company in the US has asked me to work on some Illustrations for a series of books. I know the guys quite well as I have had dealings with them in the past helping them with research. I am already set up as self employed because my main bread and butter job previously was as a contractor in the construction industry. My illustration work will be invoiced to the publishing company on an hourly pay rate. Would someone be kind enough to detail what I need to include in my monthly invoice to the company for work done/hours worked and also what they would have to include in a pay slip to accompany the money. Basically they are a very small firm and have never dealt with an Illustrator who is based in the UK before. Vice versa for me really. Links to online examples of the invoices/pay slips would be fine. Thank you very much in advance for any replies. Regards Emil
