Hi, Do you guys think that its important to study journalism at university or go straight into it without wasting time on a degree?
You can go for training without having to go through university. Here are journalism bodies in the UK that offer training.
If you want to take a degree from a university then it is very important because with this you can make your career in Journalism. If you work hard then you sure get success.
I will add that it depends on whether you’re willing to work really hard for lesser pay or not, but more gratification as a genuine public servant. Moreover, an undergraduate degree in journalism can itself be a delightful part of liberal arts education.
