If you want to take a degree from a university then it is very important because with this you can make your career in Journalism. If you work hard then you sure get success.
I will add that it depends on whether you’re willing to work really hard for lesser pay or not, but more gratification as a genuine public servant. Moreover, an undergraduate degree in journalism can itself be a delightful part of liberal arts education.
