    Hi to all of you!

I need help. I just finished 2years college- Graphic Design and during the lockdown decided to give it a go and start freelance. I posted an ad on gumtree and had an immediate response. Now I finally picked two clients. One of which needs help with visual branding- logo, website, stationery, business cards, letterhead, information booklet.

I was trying to find some information online about how much should I charge as a fresh starting freelancer but it was difficult thus I decided to give it a go in here and ask you guys for help.

    Hey!
In most industries its helpful to charge in packages such as standard or premium for what you can offer and the service the client will be paying for, you can offer free consultation to help you get leads and then create packages to their budget to start out!
Me and my partner run a videography company and would be happy to send over portfolios if any of your clients are also looking for video content from you? or wanting to book a videographer seperately? These are the kind of contacts you'll be making over time to be able to give well-rounded services!

    Would you be interested?

If we're talking about hourly rates, most experienced freelance graphic designers charge between $65 and $150 per hour. Those graphic designers who are already famous in the industry charge an hourly rate that starts at $300. At the low end, newbies charge from $25 to $50 per hour.

Yes, you are absolutely right. I think if you are new to a graphic designer then you should fewer rates as compared to others so that you can win customer satisfaction. Then as your portfolio develops you should increase your charge per hour. Moreover, the per hour rate also depends on the country and region.

This is a waste of time. You can do something yourself.
