Logo design competition £50 prize

try and redeam myself here lol iv gone for ultra modern i doubt anyone will like it at but hey! here goes

a logo doesnt have to be ledgeable and it doesnt nesserelly have to incororate the name but this does its a symbol that would become instantly reconisable, i know nike are a huge company but the nike tick was used from the off and was reckonised as NIKE

 

Thats what you said and now your arguing with us when we say we dont like it lol.

I can see where your coming from ryan but seriously....to a member of the public, that says jack all - they probably wont even realise its a logo if they saw it.

 

Your right the logo itself doesn't have to be legible, however brands like Nike, Adidas and even the famous Macdonald arches, like you mentioned are big companies and are backed up by years of promotion and marketing campaigns nation and world wide, hence why they are recognisable. They also usually use simple graphic symbols and shapes rather than more complex ones (as you say they are more recognisable). Don't get me wrong I quite like the design but for a small/medium scaled business I dont think it will work.

 

Cheer for the smart responce unqiue was well thought about and not just errrr no from mediocure designers least i had a attempt to think outside of the box and unquie proved he is a real designer by responding to ledgiable which the rest of you probs thought 'ledgiable' WHAT! i bet you will all come back with your wikipedia definitions now and prove to me you know it

I like it. That's quite a heavy watermark you've got there though. Its kinda hard to mentally isolate the image from it.

it's not necessarily about the money, it's more of a case of it being a challenge...and name recognition. Everyone starts somewhere!
