Hi, I have been freelancing for a few months now but wanted some advice on the best way to get more clients. I do CAD work and have been for a few years. I don't want to use any websites like Freelancer.com, Upwork.com etc since I have tried these and have spent hours on them with no result. How do you recommend to get consistent clients? I am happy to pay somebody a commission to get me clients if that is an option as well. What do you suggest?

The market for CAD services is very competitive. So identify your strengths. Some things you need to get clear about. What your long term goals? Whose will be prospective customers? Why clients should come to you? What's special about your service? Everything you can highlight via project profile. You need to take on projects that require detailed design knowledge in addition to drafting skills. Best of luck.
