Freelance Workers needed for University of Liverpool study

    · Do you work on a platform such as Upwork, PeoplePerHour or Freelancer?
    · Are you currently, or have you previously, worked in a role that involves management consultancy for a client sought through the platform? Examples include: HR consultant, management consultant, IT consultant etc.
    · Do you have at least 12 months of experience doing this type of work?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all questions, then I would be very interested in hearing from you.

I am currently working on a research project on the relationship that gig workers have with their organisation and/or client. I am looking to interview management consultants who have worked in the ‘gig’ industry for at least a year to listen to their unique experiences and how they perceive their relationship with the organisation and/or client.

All interviews will be confidential, and the data anonymised. Personal data will be processed in line with GDPR regulations. I can be flexible about how and where interviews take place. The research is supported by the Economic and Social Research Council and has ethical approval from the University of Liverpool Ethics Committee. The study will be used to improve our understanding of whether there is a substantial variation in experiences and attitudes of gig workers by skill level and expose concerns which may otherwise go unnoticed.

Please circulate it to anyone you feel might be interested in participating in this study. If you have any questions, or think you might wish to participate, please feel free to get in touch with me without obligation.
