  1. I haven't drawn anything for nearly 4 years, but I think it is time to put some effort into what I really love to do.

    I set up a blog yesterday to track my progress;

    there is much more to come!

    I am just drawing whatever inspires me currently. I have never had any payed work but I would love to hear what you guys have to say about my work.

    Please if anyone has their own blog you think I may be interested I would love to hear about it!

    Good stuff! Best thing to do is keep on drawing and build up that portfolio.
    I especially like the dragon one as I'm a fan of cartoon style drawings. Do you have Illustrator/Photoshop? Would be good to see the dragon all vectorised :)

    Great indeed.

    Get yourself a wacom drawing tablet and start using it.
    Love your "Your a wizard drawing" :)

    My advice would be to decide on a direction you want to head and build a killer portfolio to prove to prospective clients that you can take their kind of work in your stride. From your blog so far it looks like you have a leaning toward fantasy comics. The problem is, there are millions of kids trying to do the same stuff, particularly with the manga style, so you have to be so much better than them.
    If you're not sure of a direction, draw, draw draw. Draw anything and everything. You'll begin to get an idea what feels good and what doesn't.
    Good luck.

    Looks really promising. I would wait until you actually have a rather extensive and impressive portfolio before trying to decide which way would be best for your work. You have skill, though.

    I'd love to see your latest illustrations. Have you been successful as an illustrator?
    For anyone getting started, writing a blog to track your progress is a great idea. I would also recommend creating an online illustration portfolio or a showcase page collecting some of your best works and using it as a reference link for your potential clients.
    It's 2018 and you still can go with Wordpress.com or Blogspot.com for a general blog. If you're looking for a simple way to combine your blog with an illustration portfolio or even an online store for selling your illustrations I would recommend Format as the most cutting-edge platform I've used so far.

    your idea is great , you can get your own blog to display your ideas and drawings .

    Personally, I use illustrator to draw and I use a XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro Display Drawing Tablet with illustrator. I display my art work at the deviantart website , there have many digital artists .
