I'm new to this forum and I see some great things going on. I've been freelancing for over 3 years and I'd be happy to offer any help - to the extent that I can anyway.

I'd like to mention that I went through the struggles of starting a freelance career (not being able to land clients being the major pain point). Because of this, I recently launched a platform to bridge the gap from "newbie" to "expert." I don't want to be spammy, so I'll hold off on posting about specifics until other members ask.

Yesterday I sent some questions to this forum, but I don't find it, so I try again Could you help me, and anyone else who knows more?
I would like to start to work as a freelancer, but I don't know if I would be successful in the beginning or at all (because there are so many freelancers).
Can I start to work on freelancer websites without being self-employed? Can I solve other way paying the taxes? IF I can, how long I can wait.
Do I need any fund to start to be self-employed? Do I need to pay any fees in the beginning to start to be self-employed, or only when I need to pay my taxes?

I can't provide any legal advice, so I don't feel comfortable telling you that you can/can't do something with regards to taxes and business filings. However, I don't see reason why you can't get started immediately.

You can join freelancing sites, but I find it to be very competitive for a newbie, which is the reason I started Boonle. I know this has been asked before, but I don´t have it very clear yet…
I just started to look to be a freelance in my spare time. I have a permanent job and it would be something to do on the evenings, just small projects from home with small earnings. Do I need to register as a freelance? or it could be considered as a hobby?

It's actually a really good idea to register your own company, so that you remove the risk. It's also better for tax purposes. I was doing some reading and I came upon this article about trademarks aswell: https://www.1and1.com/digitalguide/websites/digital-law/registering-your-company-name-or-trademark/

Basically if you're thinking of doing any kind of creative work, it's recommended that you look into establishing a trademark so that your content is not ripped of across the web. Then you can easily protect your intellectual property.
