Hi. I've been asked to redesign a website that was made in Joomla by someone else and the new website does not need to be in Joomla anymore. My questions are: 1) How can I remove the joomla site files? If I am provided with the joomla admin details, which i dont hav right now, what should i keep in mind while deleting extensions and other files. 2) The designer has frame redirected this site to his own website, if I change that, is the website going to go offline or something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thnx OK Let me rephrase my question My client had their website designed by some other designer and In the control panel of the web site where he bought his domain name it asks:- Your Domain Forwarding destination * e.g. http://www.yourname.co.uk/ Forwarding type has 2 options, frame redirect and http redirect: Frame redirect ----this is currently selected by the previous developer/designer like this: http://www.previousdesigner.com/theclientDomainName HTTP redirect----if i change the above setting to this, what issues am i likely to run into given my limited knowledge of webdesign? Frame redirect asks for Title Meta description Meta keywords HTTP redirect asks for he URL of he ISP I am basically a print designer moving gradually towards webdesign and this is the first time i hav come across such a situation, so please if anyone could guide me through.. Thanks.

Ans: Yes, just delete the Joomla directory to uninstall joomla from a website. Then clear the database for that install. If you have only one db, and more than one joomla, or other site, using it, then only delete the prefix you set for that specific joomla install.
