Hi all,

I'm currently working on moving away from my business with my business partner to start up on my own again, however I want to do things as well as possible, and wondered where I could go to get some ideas on how I could advertise/market what I do.

What I'm looking for is some clever way of putting across on a website what I do.

So, what do I do...I'm primarily a web developer, backend stuff as well as XHTML and Standard compliant code. I want to still develop, but move away from it slightly and do more project management and meeting new clients. I want to build a team of freelancers, who between us all encompass the skills of marketing, web developer, web programmer, designer, seo, copywriting and proof reading.

In terms of my USP, I want to put it across that we don't just build a website and thats it. Right at the beginning, we determine the needs of the client, build a brief detailing exactly whats required, while also detailing what marketing is going to be put in place once the site is up and running...how is it going to be promoted.

I don't want to simply build a site which shows a portfolio and a list of services, but on the other hand I don't want to go into too much detail in terms of the planning stages and strategies etc.

I want everything we do to be based on getting results for the client, if we don't believe a solution won't get results, i.e. a 300 quid website for a plumber, then I don't want to do it, it's unfair on the person paying.

Does anyone have any idea's of how I could uniquely put this across on a website, or anywhere I could go for advice?

As a web designer I am sure you will have many innovative ways of getting your information scaled down. Remember those that are looking for your services will probably not know much about websites and web development, so try and keep it as jargon free as you can.
