Hi all, am about to invest in a digital voice recorder and would appreciate any recommendations. Guessing mic quality, storage capacity and ease of download are key, but would like user feedback if poss. Will mostly be used for interviewing 1-1 and in press conferences. Thanks in advance.

I am actually interested in this one too. For now, I am currently using my iPhone. Although it works really really well already, it's also good to have a dedicated one for recording.

Philips is a good brand. I think you can go for that!

    Successfully Recording Interviews

I too would love input from anyone who has tested a few models. My fathers been a journalist for over 50 years and a tutor for close to 20 years and I've been compiling his advice and fact sheets to his students.
I have a section on Recording Interviews Successfully and he speaks of techniques and even types of recorders but I'd like to include a reference to a good review on digital recorders.

There are a lot of freebies available, you dont necessarily need to buy one.
Audacity is one that I can recommend.
