I also get very distracted if I'm working from home so I've started to find other productive things to do in the time when I'm inevitably distracted. I'm now trading sim cards on the side through O2 star trader. The sims are free and they pay £5 commission for each sim that you can get someone to top up. They also run loads of promotions with cash prizes so there is quite a lot of opportunity to earn some extra money

LOL Oatmeal is always a funny site for stuff that we can all relate to. Finding time and the right balance when working from home is difficult and when I fist started out a few years ago I di struggle with time management and things like that....but if you want to do something you have to be strict with yourself and have a daily to do list that you can make sure you check everything off that list at the end of the day.

Oh wow, do not get me started!!!
Netflix calls me, Facbook & Twitter torment me, oh and do not get me started on the good weather.

I have actually started working in the garden as I am away from the distractions of the house phones, TV and other tech based nasties ;)

wow I never heard of this something I will have to look into. This explains why people are selling these on Ebay (If a good number) or giving them away for free. In the hope that someone will top them up!

Currently working from home. I feel more free but also increasingly alone and separated from social circles.

I've been working from home for 2 years now and it drove me crazy long ago. I have social anxiety, trouble with going outside and many more problems. It would've been nice if I had something to attend to outside of my developer job, just so I could go out every once in a while.
