Hello All

Can any one give any advice on optimizing websites please. I've just built a site for a client and would like to learn more about ranking the site high on all search engines (preferably page 1, first line).

Would it be best to advise my client to find a company or person that can help with getting the site ranked highly. Any recommendations/cost per month?

As I'm new to web design I was hoping that someone may comment on which journal or journals to buy, to keep in-touch and help with my development. I was looking at 'Net', would this be a good choice....??

Sorry I forgot to mention my client has five domain names pointing at the one site. Will this affect the price of optimization?
