Default Rate my site please

Please have a look at my site that i built. Please bear in mind im not a web designer im an IT technician. If you look in firefox there are a few issues with it centralising, but IE looks fine.

cheers

I've looked at it in Safari on a Mac and it looks pretty good for a novice project. Try adding some spacing (padding or margin in css) between your content and the page border.

Looks good to me for a novice project. Try adding a different colour in as the red really SHOUTS. Also use this code for your Skype name:

Code:
<a href="skype:NAME?call">CALL ME</a>

I am a complete novice with web design too but can offer some feedback from a creative/potential customer/Mktg perspective...

On the laptop screen it says Web Design Coming Soon - I think this is too subtle if it is a real message that you are trying to put across.

Also I think the copy on your 'PC Support' page might be better placed on your homepage as it is less ambiguous and tells the customer straight away what you can do for them... I had to click through the pages to find out what I might need a quote for.

Apologies if you weren't after this type of feedback!

Hi,

If you wanted a hand in any web design project at any time I would be glad to assist,

I specialize in front-end design creating attractive functional bespoke hand coded websites, semantic XHTML/CSS construction and web content accessibility to people with disabilities. also use all cs4 design suite. I am quite local to Bristol and always looking for a new project to work on.

gud luck

I like it, I like simple sites like this that tell a person what they want to know. The problem you're probably going to run into is placement in google etc. as you have few keywords for the robots to latch on to. It really depends on what you're aiming to get out of the site.

If you want me to be picky, read on. If not, stop here!

Your picture has the top of your head cut off, you have plenty of space to include a full size pic. The text within the centralised table is off center as as the images.

All the best
Tom
